Many events, conferences, tradeshows and conventions are
annual events and have much at stake in terms of money and
reputation. Each and every one has clearly defined business
objectives. So how do organizers and associations measure
success and learn how to improve for the following year? Beyond
the basic revenue targets and attendance numbers, they need
to conduct a delegate/attendee survey.
ZINC Research has the experience and a full platform of services
and resources, via our EVENTStat product, to provide organizers
and associations the necessary tools to evaluate their gathering.
Clients have the option of choosing one or both of our services.
- Pre-Event Evaluation: A short online
survey prior to event (10-15 questions) can be sent out
to delegates/participants to understand their event intentions
and expectations. This is valuable to grasp if there are
any issues arising that may need to be addressed and fine-tuned.
Clients are provided with an online report, so that they
can obtain insights in a timely manner and quickly act on
them.
- Onsite Evaluation: Using our PDA platform
plus 20 to 30 hrs of interviewer time we can conduct a 3-5
minute survey with delegates/participants during an event.
The survey will contain questions about satisfaction with
various aspects of the event that will be key learning for
future events, and more importantly can be tracked over
time and thus become a critical benchmark of performance
to organizers and associations. Clients will be provided
with a report (in PowerPoint format) within one month of
an event’s completion.
Depending on what option selected, we at ZINC Research can
package these research initiatives into a single seamless
turnkey research service to help an association and/or organizers
meet their event evaluation objectives. Basic evaluation services
start from $3,500.
